Due in large part to the success of The Sarien Encounter, the Two Guys from Andromeda were pressed into service again, this time to design the parser game Space Quest II. Vohaul's Revenge tells the story of Roger Wilco's attempt to foil the current plans of the evil Sludge Vohaul, the bad dude Roger vanquished (accidentally) in the last chapter. This time Sludge's scheme is even more diabolical. All he was going to do last time was kill everyone on Xenon. This time, he's going to dump thousands of pushy, obnoxious insurance salesmen on the planet!
In 1987, Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe were beginning to develop a following. Space Quest II was widely anticipated, and proved to be a big seller. The documentation from this game, which was the first Space Piston Magazine, won awards for excellence. And the Two Guys from Andromeda, sporting red poodle do's and long snouts, were featured prominently on the game box. Their new-found success may have been the reason for the senseless tragedy that took place in Space Quest III.

Sigh, heroes are so easily forgotten. Roger is stationed aboard the Xenon Orbital Station 4, as head janitor. Don't get a big head, though, he's the only janitor. Of course, he isn't doing a good job at all. His adventure begins as his boss orders him to go clean up some mess in a just arrived shuttle.
Roger wakes up after being knocked unconscious by two ugly goons who were waiting for him in the shuttle he had to clean. He is tied up, and facing the mighty Sludge Vohaul, the alien more hideous than your Aunt Hildegard! Vohaul is a little bit pissed at Roger, for ruining his Sarien Operation. And now the mad scientist has a new plan to make Xenon pay! Infesting the whole planet with thousands door-to-door salesmen! Ensuring Roger won't interfere again, he is sent to the Labion labor mines, to enjoy many painful hours of labor. And of course, Roger escapes using his dumb luck.
He finds everything but friendly beings. The planet Labion is very hostile, and full with lethal life forms. He somehow managed to survive. After stealing a shuttle, he is caught once again by Sludge Vohaul (Granddaddy of Gross) and taken aboard the secret hideout, an Asteroid Fortress. Roger managed to stop Sludge from infesting Xenon and killed him. Have we seen the last of Sludge Vohaul and his mad plans? I don't think so!
